Prodigy Peel II

The PRODIGY PEEL “P2” SYSTEM combines resorcinol, lactic acid, salicylic acid, and citric acid to target multiple skin concerns ranging from mild to moderate aging, mild acne, and pigment irregularities. These ingredients are coupled with a powerful “booster”, featuring an advanced form of salicylic acid, providing enhanced beneﬁts when compared to other superﬁcial chemical peels. Because of its innovative formulation design, there is a decreased chance of pigment irregularities. The “P2” SYSTEM is self-neutralizing and requires no neutralizing products. Optimal, cumulative improvements will be noted after administering a series or treatments.

The iS Clinical Prodigy Peel System is a pharmaceutical-grade, three-step chemical peel designed to give you a brighter, more youthful complexion. This treatment utilizes lactic acid, salicylic acid, resorcinol, and a potent booster to peel away the superficial and medium-depth layers of your skin, improving imperfections and renewing your complexion. Expected downtime?

This treatment may result in some downtime, which varies depending on individual factors such as skin condition, age, and lifestyle. Following the treatment, peeling, flaking, and sometimes sheet peeling may occur for up to ten days, starting from day two and increasing through to day six.

Stages of the healing process

Day 1

You may experience mild to moderate redness, tightness, possibly swelling, itching, and irritation. Avoid sun exposure, and use SHEALD Recovery Balm to provide moisture and soothe redness and irritation.

Days 2-6

The treated area may feel tight, with some lingering redness. Flaking, peeling, and/or sheet peeling will commence and intensify during this period. Refrain from scratching, picking, or peeling off the flaking skin to prevent scarring. The “old” skin may feel tight, and itching may occur before the process is complete. Soft, fresh skin layers will emerge underneath the flaking skin, which may appear red or discolored in comparison. Sunburn-like redness, irritation, tightness, and itching may persist during this phase.

Days 7-10

Skin improvements may become noticeable, but peeling or flaking may continue in some areas for up to ten days. The skin remains sensitive, especially to heat and sunlight.
