About Plasma Pen

Plasma Pen stands as an innovative tool designed for non-invasive skin lifting, tightening, and rejuvenation. It effectively addresses wrinkles, sagging, and dull skin. It’s FDA approved and CE approved for fibroblast therapy, a treatment stimulating collagen production in the skin.
Plasma Pen offers an alternative to treatments like Botox or facelifts, yielding remarkable lifting outcomes.
Please note!
Whether dealing with stubborn sagging eyelids or under-eye wrinkles unresponsive to other methods, or seeking a subtle lip lift without fillers, the Plasma Pen provides an effective solution. Its cosmetic approach utilizes plasma to remove excess skin and stimulate collagen production. Immediate improvements, such as lifted eyelids, are observable, with full results typically appearing within about four weeks. Additionally, its youth-restoring effects can last up to three years. It’s NON-invasive or NON-surgical.
What are Fibroblasts?
Dermal fibroblasts are cells within the dermis layer of skin which are responsible for generating connective tissue and allowing the skin to recover from injury. The micro trauma caused by plasma stimulates Fibroblasts, existing collagen and elastin in the skin and promotes the production of new skin cells which will help to strengthen, plump and tighten the skin. New cell production continues for several weeks after a session. This helps to refine fine lines and wrinkles, and improve the overall complexion of the skin. Fibroblasts are critical in supporting healing functions of the skin, and involved in key processes such as creating new extra cellular matrix (ECM) and collagen.

How does it work?
This process uses an electrical arc which touches the skin surface. The heat widens the pores and is transferred into the epidermis all the way to the papillary layer which contains fibroblast cells. From this, excess skin is reduced and the results are comparable to lift procedures or wrinkle reduction. Most, if not all, methods of skin resurfacing are based on creating a controlled skin damage, which activates its healing. This leads to the skin remodelling and improvement in various signs of aging.
Is plasma pen skin tightening painful?
Plasma is mildly to moderately uncomfortable. Everyone’s pain level is different and some areas of the body are more sensitive than others. Numbing cream is helpful in reducing the discomfort during treatment.

- Individuals seeking to tighten and lift drooping eyelids, eyebrows, jawline, and neck.
- People concerned about wrinkles and fine lines around the eyes, lips, cheeks, and forehead.

However, fibroblast treatment may not be suitable for individuals with very thin or fragile skin. A consultation with your provider can help determine your candidacy for the procedure.

How many sessions would I need?
Most patients experience noticeable improvements in skin tightness and tone after just one fibroblast session. However, the number of treatments required depends on factors such as your skin laxity and desired outcomes.
On average, 1-2 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart are recommended for optimal results. Smaller areas like the eyelids or neck may require fewer sessions compared to larger areas such as the abdomen.
During your initial consultation, your practitioner can advise on the ideal number of fibroblast treatments for your specific needs. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and skincare routine can help prolong the effects of the treatment. Additionally, annual touch-up sessions may be beneficial to address the ongoing aging process.
The effects of plasma fibroblast therapy are considered permanent because it stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin fibers in the dermis. However, these skin proteins naturally degrade over time. Typically, results last for at least 1-3 years or longer before a maintenance session is recommended.
