Eyeliner tattoo has gained significant popularity as a semi-permanent makeup solution. Many individuals are opting for this procedure to enhance the appearance of their eyes and eliminate the need for daily eyeliner application. Eyeliner tattoo is the perfect solution to thicker, darker lashes and more defined eyes, giving you a professional make-up result that stays and doesn’t need to be removed every night or carefully “matched up” every morning.

Our permanent eyeliner tattoo can be applied to the top, bottom or both eyelids so you can customize your look.

The actual tattooing process involves depositing pigments into the upper layer of the skin along the lash line. The technician will use a handheld device with a fine needle to create precise and defined lines. Depending on your desired look, there are various styles of eyeliner tattoos, such as thin and subtle lines, winged eyeliner, or even a more dramatic cat-eye effect.

Top-Bottom eyeliner

Top/Bottom eyeliner

Achieve the bolder look with this method, if you prefer a wing or cat-eye look then this is for you! The eyeliner is always designed to your eye shape however this will suit if you want a bit more definition, if you have bigger eyes and are used to wearing eyeliner make-up.

Eyelash enhancement

This method will make your lashes line thicker and darker without having a wing or thick eyeliner look. This suits most but especially people with smaller eyes or hooded eyelids, either way, it will bring more attention to your eyes.

Stages of the eyeliner healing process day by day:

Day 1

After leaving the salon, your eyeliner may appear bright and dark. It’s common for your eyes to be puffy and red, which is a normal reaction of the skin and typically subsides within a few hours to 1-3 days, as everyone’s reaction varies.

The crucial step is to remove lymphatic fluid from the tattooed area using clean wet wipes. At home, you can wash your eyes with warm water and allow them to air dry. If needed, apply clean cotton rounds soaked in cool water to reduce swelling (remember to wash your hands before). Sleeping with your head slightly elevated can help alleviate swelling, and it’s advisable to use a fresh pillowcase. Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days to protect the healing eyeliner.

Day 2

It’s normal for the pigment to appear even darker initially. To maintain cleanliness, gently blot the area with clean wet cotton rounds or wash your eyes with warm water, avoiding rubbing and instead dabbing and patting with a clean tissue or towel. Allow the area to air dry.

Day 3-7

During these days, avoid washing your eyes with water. Crust and scabbing will begin to form. It’s crucial not to pick, peel, or scratch the treated area to prevent uneven healing, scarring, and infection. Allow the scab to fall off naturally; however, if it rests on the eyelashes, you may gently remove it. It’s normal for a few lashes to become stuck on the crust as they naturally shed, so there’s no need to be alarmed.

Day 7-14

The skin has healed, but it remains thin and vulnerable to trauma. Scabbing is gradually diminishing, and itching has subsided, with the pigment becoming lighter. However, it’s still not advisable to undergo cosmetic procedures, dye your eyelashes, or visit saunas or swimming pools, as the skin remains delicate and susceptible to irritation.

Day 14

During this stage, the pigment continues to settle and be absorbed, leading to potential changes in color—from bright and saturated to lighter tones. These variations are individual and depend on the skin type. Gaps in the eyeliner may also be noticeable. These imperfections will be addressed during the touch-up session, recommended to be scheduled 4 to 8 weeks after the initial cosmetic procedure.
